TRANSCRIPT

JED: All right, well, welcome Sean. It’s great to have you here today, and uhm let’s start things off by telling us a little bit more about yourself and your history in the marketing world.

SEAN: Yeah, thanks for having me. So actually I graduated from college and had no idea what I wanted to do with my life, and so stumbled around from odd job to odd job, and discovered advertising. I didn’t know people could actually get paid to make ads and do marketing and thought that was the coolest job in the world. So actually went to advertising school, if you can believe it.

There’s a school at Virginia Commonwealth University well back then it was known as, The Ad Center. Now it’s the Brand Center. It’s a two year program, and I studied strategy. Once I graduated I got a job at The Richards Group in Dallas and worked there for about seven years. Then I moved back east and worked at an agency in Durham called McKinney, then left after about five years and went out on my own. Hung a shingle out and drummed up some business, and never looked back.

JED: So what are you focusing on right now?
