Myriad is Hiring a Part-Time Social Media Assistant

Hey folks! Myriad is looking for an awesome social media team member to work with us for the next three months.

Myriad offers social media strategy and support to several of our major accounts, and we also work hard to develop Myriad’s own brand through social media. We are seeking a part-time Social Media Assistant who will work directly with our Media Strategist on both efforts. Ideal candidates will have 1-3 years of experience managing professional social media accounts.

This is a three-month, part-time/contract position for 20 hours per week. This position will not result in a full-time hire at the end of three months, but there may be an opportunity to extend your contract depending on your performance and market conditions.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

Writing and curating content; monitoring leads and accounts; creating and organizing influencer Twitter lists; market research for key accounts; tracking statistics, analytics, and performance for client reports; enhancing our current client-based social media services; improving the social strategies we use for Myriad’s brand presence; developing and organizing social campaigns; improving micromedia philosophies we can integrate into our productions.

You understand how to build professional networks and create meaningful conversations through social media. You ask engaging questions.

You are tech savvy. Evolving technology excites you and you are constantly testing and researching new tools and platforms.

You take communication design seriously. You know the importance of brand positioning and you can take on different brand voices for separate accounts.

You are able to analyze online data and create actionable conclusions.

You are a news junkie and digitally curious. You can find or create new opportunities for businesses because you watch and research changing marketplaces.

You think and communicate globally.

You understand the importance of creating different styles of content for different types of social networks.

You are an impressive copywriter with a keen eye for design, photography, and video.

You have excellent time management skills. You do not miss deadlines.

You have the ability to work autonomously. You can take direction and run with it.

You are calm under pressure.

You come up with new, exciting ideas without being asked.

Experience in Photoshop is required. Proficiency in other Adobe Creative Cloud platforms is a plus.
