Meredith never shies away from an opportunity to make a list, and has an affinity for filling out forms by hand.
Meredith is a Michigander (from the mitten part) who moved to the Triangle in 2008 because she was fed up with the five-month-long winters. Her background is in graphic design—she received a BFA from the University of Michigan in 2005—and picked up editing a few years later. When she noticed video trending towards motion graphics, she learned After Effects and eventually became a full-time freelancer.
Working nights and weekends for over a year, she finally finished editing her first long-form narrative, an hour-long documentary called Brewconomy, in the spring of 2015. She can’t wait to edit another long-form piece (hopefully about sports.) Meredith was on a post-production team that won an Emmy for a regional commercial and an ADDY for a series of self-promotional animations.
In her spare time, Meredith maintains her landscaping and gardens. She never shies away from an opportunity to make a list, and has an affinity for filling out forms by hand. A bit of a sports nut, you’ll find her watching football on Saturdays and Sundays in the fall and listening to sports talk radio nearly every day. She’s a board member on her local alumni club chapter and returns home every fall to catch a game at The Big House.
