Ricardo’s career at Myriad Media began in 1998, as a 20-year-old intern. He later became Myriad’s first full-time employee, creating motion graphics and doing whatever he could to help out. The team quickly realized that Ricardo was not only gifted in graphics, but also in gab. Armed with the friendliest of personalities (even on the worst of days), Ricardo transitioned from graphics into marketing, and he was named a full partner in 2012.

Ricardo graduated from Full Sail University with an Associate of Arts in Digital Media. His hobbies include tickling his two kids, Eva and Sebastian, eating weird ethnic foods with low sanitation ratings, hacking his workflow to be more productive every day, and trying to instill Ecuadorian culture into his children, no matter how American or suburban they become. Oh yeah, and he loves hip-hop. A lot.

Ricardo’s favorite movie is City of God. “It’s so different than anything ever produced. The story is great, the acting is top-notch and it takes you into a world you’ve never been before: The worst favela in Rio. The opening scene is an escaped chicken being chased by an armed gang through the favela streets. What’s not to love about that?”
