Mundane Moment - Marital Mowing Bliss

Our lives are filled with mundane moments, often spent at home with family and loved ones.

But for many North Carolinians, these moments are threatened by laws and policies that allow discrimination based on who they are, who they love, or what they believe.

When the ACLU needed a creative and social way to highlight the discriminatory effects of North Carolina Senate Bill 2, Myriad Media was ready to help.

We took the lead on concepting, scripting, and producing 3 video ads for ACLU North Carolina’s #MundaneMoment campaign.

 

We also produced a social media strategy to release the videos, including content creation and paid promotions on Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube.

The #MundaneMoment hashtag was promoted through videos and posts pushed through the ACLU-NC Facebook (190,000 views), Twitter (19,000 views) and Youtube (65,000 views) channels.

Together, we developed a microsite to showcase the videos. Visitors were encouraged to share their own #MundaneMoment on social media, and enter their information to learn more about the ACLU of NC.

We developed social advertisements to drive web traffic (over 3,000 visitors) and sign-ups, which were served to targeted audiences on Facebook and Twitter.
